I made bodywork my profession since taking my first massage training in San francisco in 1985 and was lucky to study thereafter with some of the most respected teachers in the United States where I lived from 1978 until 2002.
My training includes, among many others, the Amma Institute (California), the Massage Training Institute (California), the Rolf Institute (Colorado), the Saint John Neuromuscular Therapy Program (Florida), the Upledger Institute (Florida), the Novato Institute for Somatic Research and Training (California) and the Stecco Method of Fascial Manipulation (Italy).
I have many years of experience working in chiropractic and physical rehabilitation clinics in the San Francisco Bay Area and in 1998 started teaching Myofascial Release and Hanna Somatics classes.
In Amsterdam since 2002, I worked many years for Het Nationale Ballet while developing a private practice where I see a wide range of clients that includes professional dancers, musicians, performers of all sorts and everyone else.
I taught anatomy and deep tissue massage classes for the Akademie voor Massage en Beweging, anatomy classes for various yoga instructor training programs and give workshops for small groups of experienced massage therapists.
